We are currently looking for a Production Manager for a leading player in the Automotive Manufacturing Industry for their expansion. This company has a legacy of more than 50 years in world. This position requires your urgent attention.

the role

    • Primary Responsibility:
      Lead and manage day-to-day manufacturing operations to meet operational targets of Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).
  • Process Oversight (Dual Focus):
    Oversee both
    plastic injection molding
    and
    metal stamping/machining
    operations.
  • Production Planning:
    Plan and coordinate all manufacturing activities, optimize machine utilization, and minimize downtime.
  • Process Control:
    Supervise mold changes, resin molding conditions, color changes, and machine setups for molding; manage forging and machining setups and tooling for metal operations.
  • Cost Management:
    Develop production schedules, monitor material usage, reduce waste, and perform variance analysis to optimize

  • Quality Systems:
    Implement and maintain quality management systems (
    PPAP, FMEA, MSA
    ), ensuring compliance with
    ISO/IATF standards
    and customer requirements.
  • Audits & Compliance:
    Coordinate and lead internal and external audits; enforce safety and health regulations.
  • Team Leadership:
    Lead, train, and develop production staff; manage workforce scheduling and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Maintenance:
    Oversee
    TPM
    and preventive/corrective maintenance of all equipment.
  • Inventory & Logistics:
    Manage inventory levels, material flow, and coordinate with procurement for timely raw material availability.
  • Stakeholder Relations:
    Liaise with customers, address complaints, and coordinate with mold makers and suppliers.
  • Reporting:
    Prepare and present operational reports,
    KPIs
    (OEE, Rejection Rate, OTD), and improvement plans.

the experience

  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
  • Experience:
    5-10 years of experience in mass production factory management, including both plastic molding and metal forging/machining.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    Strong knowledge of ISO/IATF standards, Lean Manufacturing, and
    MRP
    operation.
