About the role

Damak Engineering Works' is seeking a talented QAQC professional to join our dynamic team in Kelantan & Kuantan, Pahang. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the high-quality delivery of our construction projects, contributing to the overall success of the business.

What you'll be doing

  1. Developing and implementing quality assurance and control processes and procedures to meet industry standards and client requirements
  2. Conducting regular site inspections and quality audits to identify and address any non-conformances
  3. Collaborating with project teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
  4. Maintaining accurate documentation and records of quality control activities
  5. Providing training and guidance to construction teams on quality best practices
  6. Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar quality assurance and control role within the construction industry
  2. Strong technical knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards
  3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to address quality issues efficiently
  4. Proficient in using quality management software and tools
  5. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively at all levels
  6. Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  7. Certification in Quality Management (e.g. ISO, Six Sigma) is highly desirable
