Job Summary:

The Logistics Executive plays a vital role in ensuring efficient and timely movement of goods within NSK Grocer's supply chain network. This role involves managing inbound and outbound logistics, coordinating with suppliers, transporters, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth inventory flow to support daily retail operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and monitor all inbound and outbound logistics activities including scheduling, tracking, and documentation of deliveries.
  • Liaise with suppliers, transporters, warehouse staff, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to stores.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures, proper handling, and storage of goods.
  • Verify delivery orders, shipping documents, and receipts to ensure accuracy in quantity, quality, and timelines.
  • Monitor transportation performance, resolve delivery issues, and ensure cost-effective logistics operations.
  • Track and update inventory movements in the system; assist in stock reconciliation and cycle counts.
  • Support logistics planning for new store openings, promotions, and seasonal demands.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare regular logistics reports for management review.
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency and reduce logistics costs.
  • Ensure all logistics processes comply with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of working experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations; experience in FMCG or retail is an added advantage.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with inventory or ERP systems is a plus.
  • Able to work independently and in a team, with a problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, when necessary.
  • Willing to work 6 days per week (Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM3,500.00 per month
