Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Environment Officer located in Sepang. We are looking for a committed Environment Officer to monitor and manage environmental compliance at our Sentul project site.

The successful candidate will ensure that all construction activities follow environmental regulations, permits, and sustainability standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with environmental laws and company policies.
  • Conduct environmental inspections for air, water, waste, noise, and erosion control.
  • Assist in the preparation of Environmental Management Plans (EMP) and reports.
  • Maintain proper documentation for environmental audits and DOE submissions.
  • Coordinate waste segregation, collection, and disposal according to DOE guidelines.
  • Identify potential environmental risks and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide training and awareness programs for site workers on environmental best practices.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities (e.g. DOE / JAS / JKR) and consultants when required.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Environmental Science / Environmental Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of working experience in environmental or HSE roles, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of local environmental legislation, EIA requirements, and ISO added advantage).
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Able to work independently at site (Sepang area).
  • Possess valid driving license and own transport.

Job Type: Contract

Contract length: 24 months

Pay: RM3, RM4,000.00 per month
