About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Practitioner to join our dedicated team at Klinik Padang Matsirat' in Langkawi, Kedah. As a full-time General Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality primary healthcare services to our patients. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the health and wellbeing of the local community.

What you'll be doing

1. Conducting comprehensive medical assessments and consultations for patients of all ages
2. Diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions
3. Prescribing appropriate medications and treatments
4. Referring patients to specialists or other healthcare providers as needed
5. Maintaining detailed and accurate medical records
6. Participating in the clinic's continuing medical education and quality improvement initiatives
7. Collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the best possible patient outcomes

What we're looking for

1. A valid medical degree and full registration with the Malaysian Medical Council
2. Strong clinical skills and the ability to provide comprehensive primary care
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and colleagues
4. A commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
5. Proficiency in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.
