Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to support compliance and regulatory initiatives across internal, local, regional, and scheme-level mandates.

This role will act as a key liaison between business units, schemes, IT teams, and stakeholders, translating regulatory requirements into actionable business and functional solutions while supporting end-to-end delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse and interpret regulatory mandates and assess business impact
  • Evaluate correlation and impact of new mandates on existing systems and processes
  • Gather and document requirements (functional requirements, problem statements, JIRA stories)
  • Perform gap analysis to identify risks, impacts, and improvement areas
  • Own end-to-end requirements and design phase and support testing teams
  • Coordinate with business users, IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Secure delivery timelines and effort estimations
  • Present requirements and JIRA stories in IT demand meetings
  • Consolidate IT estimations and support UAT and implementation
  • Track project progress and maintain compliance dashboards and reports

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Finance, Banking, Project Management, MIS, or related field

Preferred Experience

  • 4–8 years of Business Analyst experience
  • Banking and/or Cards domain experience (strongly preferred)
  • Experience handling compliance or regulatory-driven initiatives
