Job Title: IT Project Manager – Application Services & Production Support

Job Summary

We are looking for an IT Project Manager to manage application service request delivery and post-production technical support for banking systems. The role involves coordinating with application, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure project delivery, issue resolution, and SLA compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Service Delivery

  • Manage and deliver application service requests and small-scale projects within scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards
  • Conduct Project Steering Committee (PSC) and Project Working Committee (PWC) meetings
  • Update project status, risks, and issues in the PPM system
  • Identify technical risks and develop mitigation plans
  • Ensure project and support documentation is accurate and up-to-date

Technical Coordination & Support

  • Liaise with application, infrastructure, security, and business teams for issue resolution
  • Provide post-production technical support within defined SLA
  • Coordinate resolution of production incidents and service requests

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Computer Science / Information Systems or equivalent
  • 1–2 years of experience in project delivery or system implementation
  • 1–2 years experience managing or supporting:
  • Windows Server
  • IIS / Apache
  • Virtualization platforms
  • Basic knowledge of desktop, network architecture (added advantage)
  • Basic MS SQL knowledge (added advantage)
  • Banking domain knowledge (added advantage)

Technical & Functional Skills

  • IT Infrastructure, Software Development & IT Security fundamentals
  • Access Management concepts
  • Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Consumer Banking systems & technology (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM9, RM10,000.00 per month

  • Banking / Financial Services: 1 year (Required)
  • MS SQL: 2 years (Preferred)
  • IT Infrastructure, Software Development & IT Security: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Consumer Banking systems & technology: 2 years (Preferred)
