We are a fast-growing company and seek a talented, highly motivated Malaysia Intern to join our team in Kuala Lumpur.

Position Responsibilities

  • Assist with research and monitoring of business and investment sector issues, including government policies, regulatory developments, industry developments, consumer trends and issues, and business and investment opportunities on behalf of BGA.
  • Assist with the analysis and interpretation of the corporate, business, policy, and political implications of specific government regulations, policies, and laws in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors at the national and provincial levels.
  • Provide well-written, succinct, actionable reports to BGA leaders when required.
  • Provide information and analysis on stakeholders relevant to BGA clients.
  • Support and assist BGA in developing and implementing business, government relations, media, public affairs, and other strategies.

Job Requirements

We seek an exceptionally collegial, eager, highly motivated self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively with the Malaysia and global team. Relevant qualifications include:

  • Business-level English, native level Malaysian, and excellent written and oral communication skills in both languages.
  • Excellent research and analysis skills, knowledge of the Malaysian healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors, ICT, finance, natural resources, manufacturing, telecommunications, and others, is a plus.
  • A keen understanding of Malaysia's political, economic, and policymaking environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic internet applications is required, as is enthusiasm and the ability to learn and adopt new technologies.
  • Currently enrolled or recently graduated in a university degree program.
