Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning & Strategy:

Lead financial planning and budgeting, develop financial strategies, and provide insights to support business growth and decision-making.

  • Financial Reporting:

Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and cash flow projections.

  • Compliance & Audit:

Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws; coordinate and assist with internal and external audits.

  • Financial Analysis:

Monitor and analyse financial data, evaluate financial risks, and recommend cost-reduction strategies.

  • Operational Oversight:

Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

  • Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities to refine financial workflows and systems, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency.

  • Stakeholder Management:

Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, management, external auditors, banks, and vendors.

  • Team Support:

Mentor and support junior finance team members and assist with ad-hoc finance-related tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

  • Experience: Several years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and the ability to design complex spreadsheets.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong reasoning and problem-solving abilities to analyze financial data and address complex issues.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, strong communication, and a proactive, self-motivated approach.

Professional Certifications: A professional qualification like CPA or ACCA is often an advantage.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM8, RM10,000.00 per month
