Optometrist Duties & Responsibilities

This job requires candidates to be able to perform duties that include the following:

  • Perform comprehensive eye exams and refraction.
  • Perform vision tests and analyze results
  • Diagnose and treat ocular issues and diseases such as farsightedness or glaucoma
  • Prescribe corrective lenses and fit contact lenses
  • Build strong doctor-patient relationships
  • Handle eyecare emergencies
  • Evaluate patients for other health issues such as diabetes, and refer to eye consultant as necessary
  • Perform cyclo refraction for children

Optometrist Requirements:

  • Bachelor of optometry degree.
  • Must possess a state-issued license for optometry.
  • A minimum of 1 years 'experience as an Optometrist.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of eye-related disorders and conditions.
  • Customer service oriented with excellent analytical skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4, RM4,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Kajang : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

  • optometrist: 2 years (Preferred)

Language:

  • Mandarin (Required)
