Job Purpose

To support the Business Continuity Management (BCM) team in planning, coordinating, and implementing strategies and processes to enhance organizational resilience. The intern will assist in preparedness activities, internal engagements, and documentation to ensure the organization is equipped to respond effectively to crises and emergencies.

Major Accountabilities

Business Continuity Management

  1. Assist in preparing BCM documents such as BCM Policy, Operating Guidelines and Operating Procedures.
  2. Assist in administrative related business continuity tasks including Risk Assessment, Business Impact Analysis and Business Continuity Plan.
  3. Follow up with stakeholder on BCM submission. Logistic support in business continuity related briefing / training / workshop such send out meeting invite, prepare minutes of meeting and taking attendance.  Ensure Business Continuity related documents are upload in BCM SharePoint.

Crisis Management

  1. Assist in administrative related crisis management tasks.
  2. Follow up with stakeholder on Crisis Management Plan updates and Post-Test Report input. Logistic support in crisis drills such send out meeting invite and taking attendance. Assist in circulating the Post-Test Report for sign off.

Testing and Exercising

  1. Assist in administrative related testing and exercising tasks.
  2. Assist in logistical setup for fire drill, call tree exercise, BCP/DRP testing and Criss drill. Follow up with stakeholder to submit testing and exercise test result. Ensure testing report are uploaded into BCM SharePoint.

Training and Awareness

  1. Assist in administrative related training and awareness.
  2. Send out Business Continuity Awareness emails, follow up with HR to ensure all employee completed the BCM awareness training. Obtain from HR the new recruit attendance list for BCM induction process.
