UI/UX DESIGNER

ROLE OVERVIEW

The UI/UX Designer is responsible for creating intuitive, user-centered digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. This role involves understanding user needs, translating business requirements into effective designs, and delivering visually appealing and functional interfaces.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A) User Experience (UX)

  • Conduct user research, interviews, surveys, and usability testing
  • Create user personas, journey maps, user flows, and wireframes
  • Analyze user behavior and feedback to improve product usability
  • Ensure designs meet accessibility and usability standards
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements

B) User Interface (UI)

  • Design high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes
  • Develop and maintain design systems, UI components, and style guides
  • Ensure visual consistency across all digital platforms
  • Apply branding guidelines to interface designs
  • Stay updated on UI trends, tools, and best practices

C) Collaboration & Delivery

  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and marketing teams
  • Translate designs into clear specifications for development
  • Review and validate implemented designs with developers
  • Iterate designs based on feedback and testing results
  • Support the continuous improvement of digital products

TOOLS & TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Proficient in Figma
  • Experience with prototyping of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and front-end constraints
  • Familiar with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) is an advantage

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma or Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
  • Proven experience in UI/UX design (portfolio required)
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

SOFT SKILL

  • Strong communication and presentation skills (English required)
  • Ability to engage stakeholders and justify design decisions
  • Good time management and ability to handle multiple projects
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills

SALARY RANGE

  • RM4,000 - RM6,000
