About the role

We are seeking a talented Design Engineer to join our dynamic team at Dexion Asia Sdn Bhd, located in Shah Alam, Selangor. As a Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing innovative solutions that drive our success in the storage and warehouse solutions industry. This full-time position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a talented and supportive group of professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop storage and warehouse solutions
  • Perform detailed analyses, calculations, and simulations to ensure design feasibility, safety, and compliance
  • Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and engineering reports to support project delivery
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to address project requirements and ensure compliance with standards
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance engineering processes
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers to foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment

Requirements

  • A passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and continuously improving engineering processes
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience
  • Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor
  • Experience or exposure to automation systems, material handling, or warehouse automation will be an added advantage
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous learning and improvement
