Who you will be working for:

Our client is a prominent legal firm based in Penang. They are rapidly expanding their firm and are seeking great talent to join their organization in PJ.

What you will be doing:

Take the lead in high-stakes commercial legal negotiations with a leading legal practice in Penang. Be part of a dynamic and innovative team that values excellence, career development, and impactful work.

Your Role

  • Strategize and advise corporate structures for prominent clients in key industries.
  • Conduct due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures, with a focus on intellectual property matters.
  • Draft, negotiate, and finalize commercial contracts to meet client objectives.
  • Support your team with legal research, opinions, and training initiatives.
  • Represent clients in high-value disputes and arbitration, enabling favorable outcomes.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B) and valid practicing certificate.
  • At least 5+ years of commercial legal experience, with expertise in corporate law, intellectual property, and litigation.
  • Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and legal advisory skills.
  • Multilingual abilities; proficiency in Bahasa Melayu and English is essential (Chinese is an advantage).
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RM9,000.00 per month
