Senior Production Engineer

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Lead Continuous Improvement: Apply Lean principles to reduce waste, shorten lead times, and enhance production efficiency and quality. Optimize Inventory: Maintain work-in-progress (WIP) levels that keep production flowing smoothly and reliably. Deliver With Excellence: Align production output to the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to consistently meet or exceed delivery goals. Resolve Challenges Quickly: Partner with teams to resolve late orders and keep production on track. Champion Safety: Foster a safety-first culture that creates a healthy, secure workplace for everyone. Sustain 5S Excellence: Maintain clean, organized, and efficient assembly areas by promoting strong 5S practices. Develop and Empower Teams: Mentor assembly leaders and build multi-skilled, adaptable teams ready to grow and succeed. Promote a Quality Culture: Embed a mindset where every process and product meets the highest standards. Support Skill Growth: Encourage learning through training, certifications, and skills development programs. Experience: 3-5 years in mass production or high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments. Leadership: Ability to inspire, guide, and support production teams in fast-paced, dynamic environments. Core Skills: Strong planning and organizational abilities to manage complex tasks with confidence and clarity. Coaching and mentoring expertise to empower, motivate, and grow teams while fostering accountability and success. Analytical and creative problem-solving mindset to deliver innovative, practical solutions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for inclusive and effective collaboration across teams and levels. Knowledge of Lean principles with a passion for driving continuous improvement and operational excellence. Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: Experience with manufacturing equipment and production tools to achieve outstanding results. Proficiency in digital applications, including Microsoft Office and related technologies. Deep knowledge of safety best practices with the ability to foster and champion a safety-first culture. Expertise in troubleshooting and applying quality improvement tools to create reliable, effective solutions. Proven collaboration and change management skills that inspire positive, lasting outcomes. Demonstrated success implementing Lean processes and driving continuous operational excellence.
