The successful candidate will be responsible to spearhead business development activities related to entrepreneurial and startup activities besides managing collaborative projects with the industry and IP commercialisation initiatives in the Centre. The candidate is expected to create or undertake projects that have strong entrepreneurial and startup elements. The candidate has to negotiate on the collaboration model and manage the consultancy/MOA. The candidate is also responsible for the project orchestration and moderation including coordinating student and research resources and facilitate project resources. In addition, the candidate is responsible for the project management including budgeting, documentation/reporting, resources sourcing and facilitating pilot/deployment test and providing technical and science advisory services.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate should possess a recognized Bachelor's degree in Business/ Entrepreneurship/ Technology/Science, a Master or DBA/PhD degree is an advantage.
- Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of working experience in entrepreneurship and commercialization related sector. Working experience in educational institution is an advantage.
- Candidate must possess strong business acumen and project management skills
- Candidate must possess strong problem solving ability and able to multi-task to meet tight deadlines.
