Job Description

  • Formulate sales strategies through a thorough analysis of the competitive landscape and market trends.
  • Manage a sales team comprising over 25 personnel, overseeing workshop, distributor, and direct account activities to attain budgeted sales targets.
  • Lead the technical team to enhance lubricant solutions, adding value for customers.
  • Cultivate strong connections and relationships with key client stakeholders at senior and mid-management levels.
  • Drive the acquisition of a new customer base, establishing partnerships with potential players, and guiding the team to expand and fulfill prospect lists on respective channels.
  • Effectively communicate the company's values and processes.
  • Set sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories, projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
  • Enhance and expedite sales volume, product mix, and selling price awareness by staying current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Maintain a high-performing sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees, as well as counseling and disciplining them, and planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain on behalf of clients to ensure the highest level of customer service, including service level and product availability.

The Successful Applicant

  • Possess a minimum of 10 years of sales and commercial experience, demonstrating success in both direct and indirect sales channels, and a track record of leading large teams to achieve budgetary goals.
  • Experience from automotive parts or lubricants or chemical or FMCG will be preferred.
  • Exhibit strong leadership qualities, including effective engagement, motivation, problem-solving skills, and systematic thinking.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering results within tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with management and cross-functional teams, catering to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Display a keen business sense, showcasing the ability to develop creative, business-oriented solutions to challenges.
