Job Description:

Job Specification

  • To lead all sales & marketing aspects for the differentiated sales team.

  • To coach individual sales managers in their day to day so that broader organizational targets around budget sales volumes and profitability are met.

  • To conduct customer visits & trade show visits in tandem with sales managers to develop new business opportunities and grow existing ones.

  • To lead the organization’s monthly DR process to ensure success of SDO’s S&OP initiative.

  • To be accountable over the differentiated sales team’s annual budget and margin targets through the development of annual sales plans & strategies in conjunction with a regular market mapping exercise.

  • To maintain a constant pipeline of new business development through the sales managers so that SDO will be able to constantly maximize the product value through its refineries.

  • Other tasks as assigned – mentorship, regional leadership, stake holder management.

Job Requirement

  • Preferably graduated with Degree or Masters in any relevant discipline.

  • Able to communicate clearly across various functions.

  • Possess a minimum of 10 years’ experience in B2B food ingredient sales.

  • Possess at least 5 years of sales team leadership experience.

  • Experience in S&OP/IBP is a plus.

  • Exceptional proven influencing skill - able to influence multiple levels of the organization – sales, supply chain, production as well as upper management.

  • Able to identify customer jobs to be done and creatively solve them.
