Responsibilities and Duties:

  • To ensure and supervise all security protocols laid down by Security in managing risk involving personnel, operation, and product security at Duopharma Biotech Group of Companies.
  • To enforce Security Concept in adopting (CPTED) Crime Prevention through Environmental Designed in preventing and dominating security threats and criminal incidences.
  • To execute all directions by Manager I, Human Resource and General Manager, Human Resource in any investigation with the intent to solve all criminal cases.
  • To execute Security directives, policies, procedures, and measures on security as planned.
  • To immediately response to all cases involving incidents in the plants, premises, warehouses, and supply chains and to immediately inform the Manager I, Human Resource and General Manager, Human Resource of any incidents that occurs.
  • To assist the Manager I, Human Resource and General Manager, Human Resource support and enforced Group SHE directive and to instill a safe working environment in Duopharma Biotech Group of Companies.
  • To assist the Manager I, Human Resource and General Manager, Human Resource to create security awareness at Duopharma Biotech Group of Companies.
  • To ensure and supervise the operation of CCTV in Glenmarie and immediately respond to all brake down with the contractors.
  • Quarterly report on hostel audit on agents that provided foreign workers and to ensure compliance with Act 446 (Workers' Minimum Standards of Housing and Amenities Act 1990).
  • To assist the Manager I, Human Resource and General Manager, Human Resource from time to time as instructed.

Job Specifications:

  • Ex-Police Officer or Ex-Military Officer with at least 15 years of experience in investigations and general police/military duties or any candidates with security related job experience in manufacturing/supply chain security.
  • Able to command and monitor numbers of guards and must be independent and innovative.
  • Having the ability to supervise and oversee security functions in the company.
  • Evaluate, assess, and analyze the performance of security personnel.
  • Initiate disciplinary measures wherever necessary.
  • Knowledge of firefighting is considered an added advantage.
  • Able to speak and write in English.
  • Possess good interpersonal communication and leadership skills.
  • Disciplines and maturity with a good PR background.
  • Good team player and leadership skills.
