About Our Client

Our client is a commercial stage in-licensing pharmaceutical company focusing on addressing the unmet clinical needs in the Southeast Asian and Middle Eastern markets.

Their pipeline is build upon cooperation with global pharmaceutical and biotech players with key focus area in Oncology, Metabolic, Ocular, CVS and Dermatology disease. Leveraging their experienced Commercial and Regulatory team our Client is bringing innovative drugs at affortable prices to the patients accross key South East Asia markets.

Job Description

  • Shape up the business commercial and pipeline strategy for the company
  • Full P&L and Operations Responsibility accross 5+ markets.
  • Identify, evaluate, and execute the deal opportunities with the support of Business Development and Regulatory Team
  • Develop deep and credible network with innovators and entrepreneurs and strategic investors, participate in company road shows and key investor and business conferences

The Successful Applicant

For this exciting role we are looking to engage with the following profiles:

  • General Manager or Senior Commercial professional with experience in China market and passion to follow in-China-for-Global trends and expand your professional experience to other markets
  • Overseas expansion General Managers with previous background in In-China-for-Global with focus on Asia and Middle East
  • or Pharma/Biotech start-up Chief Executive Officer with experience in driving South East Asia market expansion

Key competencies include:
  • A successful track record of at least 15+ years in a globally oriented organization, in the Life Sciences/Biotech industry, with proven ability to undertake both strategic and tactical commercial activities on an international scale
  • Demonstrable ability to assess opportunities, seek out, prioritise, and close commercial partnership or licensing agreements.
  • Motivational leadership skills and track records of building multi-functional commercial teams. Understanding of how to motivate different personality styles, set clear objectives and maintain high standards.
  • Track record in an organization through rapid growth (Scale-up experience preferred)
  • A team player able to work well with the technical development team to prioritise projects and accelerate time to market for new releases
  • An intelligent, creative and articulate individual who can relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses excellent communication and influencing skills;
  • Energetic and enthusiastic, with the drive and determination to imp
