Job SummarySupports the development and configuration of applications by understanding the requirements of customers and recommending application performance improvements, to ensure alignment with business requirements.
Job Accountabilities - Key Accountabilities- Understands the customers' processes and products, and how they fit within the goals of the overall function.
- Engage with the solution architect to review and validate the detailed technical design for business applications provided by the supplier to ensure alignment with business requirements and validate estimates provided by the suppliers.
- Produce an estimate for the level of effort and cost of new application functionality and perform quality review checks on project deliverables.
- Collaborate on and review the documentation of specifications and act as liaison between the business and IT.
- Participate in implementation activities, troubleshoot system environmental issues and provide training as required.
- Respond to application problem tickets as required.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in software development, with a significant emphasis on C# and MVC 5.
- A proven track record of successfully delivering complex web applications using the MVC framework.
- Extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance web applications.
- Proficiency in agile software development methodologies and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in agile teams.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in the C# programming language and the .NET framework.
- A strong understanding of MVC architecture and its implementation in web development.
- In-depth knowledge of the ASP.NET MVC 5 framework, including familiarity with Razor syntax, HTML Helpers, and data annotations.
- Familiarity with relational database management systems (RDBMS), particularly Microsoft SQL Server, including expertise in database design, SQL querying, and optimization.
- Understanding of web services, including RESTful APIs and SOAP, with experience in integrating third-party APIs.
- Proficiency in version control systems such as TFS or Git.
- A solid understanding of software design patterns and best practices.
