We are currently looking for a Head of Quality for a leading player in the Phamaceutical Manufacturing Industry with a legacy of more than 80 years in the world. This position requires your urgent attention.

  • Reporting to: Plant Manager
  • Team size: Up to 10 people
  • Based in Johor

    the role

    • Oversee Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) functions
    • Manage supplier, customer, regulatory, and internal audit processes
    • Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and good manufacturing practices (GMP)
    • Support investigative analysis of product quality issues
    • Ensure fulfillment of stability testing requirements
    • Direct regional qualification and validation activities
    • Monitor laboratory metrics and develop improvement strategies
    • Support manufacturing initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency
    • Serve as Quality Representative on regional/global quality initiatives
    • Participate in regular Global Quality meetings/projects
    • Complete any other assigned duties

      the experience

      • Bachelorâs Degree in science/chemistry or any relevant discipline.
      • At least 5 years of industry experience in a laboratory setting is required, with at least 3 years of preferred management experience.
      • Previous experience in GMP manufacturing is a MUST.
