    • Lead the research and development team in accordance with management directives.
    • Oversee the creation of novel products and enhancements to existing ones.
    • Collaborate with marketing and operations departments to identify and implement new projects, products, processes, and strategies. Track progress against predetermined objectives.
    • Stay informed about food regulations, innovative ingredients, and process advancements to develop procedures and standards.
    • Manage day-to-day activities of the R&D department, ensuring staff development, productivity, and efficiency through training and guidance.
    • Coordinate with Regulatory and Quality Compliance departments to ensure adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and health and safety protocols.
    • Assist Training Department with menu-related training programs.
    • Conduct periodic site visits to evaluate product performance.
    • Evaluate sensory attributes and effectiveness of developed products.
    • Maintain comprehensive records and reports for all tests conducted.
    • Prepare ingredient assessments and cost analyses.
    • Undertake additional duties as assigned by superiors or management.

      • Must hold at least a Bachelor's degree in Food Technology or a related field.
      • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the relevant field, including managerial responsibilities.
      • Strong understanding of beverage/coffee/tea is a bonus
