Key Responsibilities

  1. You will partner with EA China QV/QE and Development teams to guarantee successful product development and service in high quality.
  2. You will manage QV projects testing resources efficiently and deliver practical quality execution output.
  3. You will provide quality-driven leadership within the team and co-work partners, driving QA efficiency with EA China/Asia teams engaged.
  4. You will define and implement knowledge transfer and communication processes with internal and external teams.
  5. Increase productivity and efficiency by setting up new processes, implementing improvements, and deploying them to projects and teams. Setup project-wide processes across multiple co-work teams while acquiring new quality strategies and processes by joining various global and leadership communities actively.
  6. Formulate strong relationships within the QV teams, external vendors, and all development partners.
  7. Manage QV Quality designers as assigned.
  8. You will continually improve the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the QV effort by assessing current quality assurance practices and incorporating new strategies, including advancing the use of technology, automation, and development of new test tools.
  9. Contribute directly to the performance evaluation of individuals and teams, compiling objective feedback that is channeled toward both personal and process improvement.

Required Skills

  1. Total of 5+ years of experience in software/game product development, QA, Project Management, and other IT business.
  2. 2+ years of co-working experience with outsourcing/CS partners.
  3. Solid project management skills: establish project goals including scope, quality, and timeframe; create flexible project plans, including requirement definition, task definition, talent assignment, and capacity planning.
  4. Outsourcing team/resource management skills: assess the capability of 3rd party testing resources and lead their practical work performance output with sustainable co-work processes and engagement.
  5. High-level insight on SDLC, QA processes, advanced development/test methodologies, and capability to apply practical strategies such as scrum, agile, risk-based testing, technical execution (test automation), and analytic execution (KPI, data-driven decision).
  6. Compatible knowledge or experience in software configuration, CI/CD, process/task management, and data analysis communication tools such as Perforce, Jenkins, Jira/Jaas, TestRail, Notion, Confluence, PowerBI, Slack, and other equivalents.
  7. Risk management skills: evaluate development/QA risks and mitigate issues.
  8. Proficiency in Chinese is a big plus.
