Production, Planning & Scheduling (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)

  • To assist operation lead in managing operation function of the Company under operations team including planning, manufacturing, quality, project management and product development.
  • Process Optimization: Analyze current production processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement. Implement changes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower operational costs.
  • Project Management: Lead and participate in projects aimed at improving operational performance. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to production performance, machine efficiency, and operational costs. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that all products meet the required standards. Implement process controls to maintain product quality.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams such as maintenance, production, and quality teams to ensure seamless and cost-effective operations.
  • Training: Provide training and guidance to production staff on new processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
  • Prepare and manage operations daily and weekly reports.
  • Participate in operations manpower arrangement based on planning and sales forecast.
  • Improve and maintain operations process flow and achieve maximum output.
  • Ensure 5S activity in production for cleanliness and safety.
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to study and implement process improvements.
  • Investigate and prevent any uncertainties that affect output and quality.
  • Involve in system (internal and external) ISO audit.
  • Conduct weekly meetings on productivity to set action plans for improvement.
  • Work closely with other cross-functional operations departments and management support.
  • Perform any relevant ad-hoc tasks assigned by immediate superior.

Job Requirements:

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or any related engineering field).
  • Advanced certifications in operations management or engineering will be an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in operations, manufacturing, or production engineering.
  • Experience with process optimization, automation, and cost-reduction techniques.
  • Previous experience in managing equipment maintenance and repair schedules.
  • Hands-on experience with production or manufacturing systems.
  • FRESH GRADUATES are welcome to apply.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in CAD software, production planning tools, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards (ISO), and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills:

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve operational challenges.
  • Experience in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ability to identify inefficiencies in production processes and recommend improvements.

Project Management:

  • Experience in managing projects from inception to completion.
  • Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams (production, logistics, supply chain, quality assurance).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with teams and present data.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with production staff and senior management.
  • Able to converse and read in Mandarin is preferred due to the operational process with China supplier.

Leadership & Teamwork:

  • Ability to lead and mentor technical staff and production teams.
  • Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel within plant or meeting suppliers as required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
