Job Responsibilities

Daily Tasks:

  • Inputting and managing financial data in our accounting database.
  • Maintaining accurate records of cash and bank transactions.
  • Reconciling accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Conducting day-to-day administrative tasks.
  • Handling documentation of daily expenses.
  • Checking General Ledger (GL) for accuracy.
  • Responding to supplier payment advice emails.
  • Ensuring daily collections align with cash bank records and our internal system.
  • Recording official receipts and maintaining meticulous filing systems.

Weekly Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring student advance fees.
  • Coordinating with auditors, bankers, tax agents, and company secretary.
  • Reviewing debtor aging and resolving any outstanding records.
  • Issuing cheques and recording payment vouchers.

Monthly Duties:

  • Reconciling bank statements with the general ledger.
  • Reviewing creditor aging and requesting Statements of Account (SOA).
  • Calculating depreciation, accruals, and preparing journal entries.
  • Verifying financial reports, including Profit & Loss (P&L) reports by branch.
  • Submitting monthly financial reports to the CEO for review.

Qualifications & Experiences Needed

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an Account Executive or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
  • Willing to work in Setia Tropika, Johor Bahru

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
