DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage all Rotating equipment preventive and corrective maintenance activities at offshore and onshore.
  • Provide technical support and materials purchase for Turbine Engine, Compressor, axillaries, gearbox etc.
  • Steward to the Turbomachinery maintenance contract (Solar, Siemens, York, Ebara, Kawasaki etc.) including Annual Contracting Plan (ACP), pre and post contract management and contractor’s KPI.
  • Managing Turbomachinery equipment work order (WO) to be in-line with CMMS and Integrated Operations Planning (IOP)
  • Prepare and review the work pack and Task Risk Assessment (TRA) for Turbomachinery package prior to work execution.
  • Review and update spare parts usage and inventory stock item requirements at KSB/TBSB and offshore Warehouse to support PM/CM activities.
  • Travel to offshore platforms and provide field support to offshore maintenance team/ Solar Team on matters within area of expertise.
  • Monitor vendors (regular crew and non-regular crew) are strictly complied with the HSE requirement including PTW, TRA, PPE and any other safety campaign initiated at Platform facilities.
  • Provide budget input related to Turbomachinery equipment cost code including yearly Work Program Budget (WPB), quarterly budget reforecast, monthly budget accruals, vendor payment KPI etc.
  • To coordinate with Supply Chain Management Team and Petronas Group procurement to establish MSSA contract for Turbomachinery package (Solar & Siemens).
  • Liaise with OEM (Solar & Siemens) for any improvement plan that need to be initiated.
  • Support Maintenance Engineering Team and Engineering Facilities Team for any modification and upgrading job that require MOC.
  • Involve in RCFA for any failure of the Turbomachinery packages.
  • Liaise with offshore team on all works pertaining to Rotating Equipment activities.
  • Liaise with third party contractor and vendor/ specialist to carry out maintenance program such as 4K / 8K and Engine Change Out (ECO).
  • Prepare work packs, work procedures, check list and Risk Assessment (RA).
  • Attend relevant meeting (Gas planning meeting, Work Scheduling meeting and etc.) and provide technical support to offshore team.
  • Participate in MPM PETRONAS audits, IOAIA Audit and provide technical input from Rotating equipment perspective as and when required.
  • Participate in COMPANY internal audits, safety reviews and provide technical input from Rotating equipment perspective as and when required.
  • Attend Operations Department Integrated Operations Planning (IOP), Department Integrated Asset Planning (IAP) and Shutdown Planning Activities.
  • Liaise with counterparts for other department (MIE/ engineering /project) for any work program related to Turbomachinery.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Rotating Equipment maintenance in Oil and Gas industries.
  • Well-versed and knowledgeable with relevant international codes and standards.
  • High standard in technical report writing and oral English.
  • Experienced and familiar with Solar and Siemens Engine / compressor are recognized.
  • Knowledgeable with offshore work environment
  • Familiar with the standard engineering practices and able to read & understand technical drawings associate to Turbomachinery.
  • Familiar with maintenance system (CMMS) and Maximo system are preferred.
