Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervision and Leadership:
    Lead and manage a team of technicians and repair personnel in executing maintenance and repair tasks on piping systems. Provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations to team members, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
  2. Piping System Maintenance and Repair:
    Oversee the inspection, maintenance, and repair of piping systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
  3. Project Management:
    Plan, coordinate, and supervise piping projects, including new installations, upgrades, and repairs. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  4. Safety and Compliance:
    Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Ensure all work complies with relevant safety regulations, codes, and industry standards.
  5. Quality Assurance:
    Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure the integrity and reliability of piping systems. Address any issues or defects promptly and implement corrective actions.
  6. Documentation and Reporting:
    Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Prepare and present reports on the status of piping systems and project progress to management.
  7. Collaboration and Communication:
    Collaborate with other departments, including engineering, operations, and safety, to ensure seamless operations. Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and management.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience:
    Minimum of 5 years of experience in piping maintenance and repair within the oil and gas industry.
  2. Education:
    High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
  3. Skills:
    Strong leadership and supervisory skills. Excellent knowledge of piping systems, materials, and repair techniques. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Certifications:
    DOSH Certified
  5. Physical Requirements:
    Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including lifting heavy objects and working at heights. Willingness to work in various conditions, including outdoor and potentially hazardous environments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
