Job Title : Assistant Manager/Senior Executive (Investment & Acquisition)

Key Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for Financial Modelling (FM) in acquisition and/or divestment of companies with existing RE assets/projects.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain Financial Models for all business segments.
  • Review individual FMs for all business proposals with the segment head.
  • Assess FMs and manage FM streamlining for all IC papers.
  • Manage the preparation of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
  • Manage initiatives related to Corporate Strategy.
  • Report to the Head of Sustainability and Corporate Strategy (dotted line) for the development and management of the Group’s Annual Operating Plan and Balanced Scorecard (Corporate KPI).

Corporate Strategy :

  • Support in leading initiatives related to Corporate Strategy.
  • Report to the Head of Sustainability and Corporate Strategy on the annual planning of the Group’s Business Plan and Balanced Scorecard (Corporate KPI).
  • Monitor the company’s overall performance.
  • Develop the Group’s Business Plan on an annual basis including:
  • Coordinating with management and business units to collate inputs for the preparation of the Company’s annual business plan.
  • Coordinating with the Finance function on projections and budgets to support the Annual Business Plan.
  • Work closely with Management to develop the Corporate Balanced Scorecard (BSC) and KPI monitoring, including:
  • Communication and tracking of teams/business units.
  • Identifying gaps to achieving targets.
  • Working with business units to solve problems/issues in achieving targets.

Business Development Role :

  • Lead the business development team in the strategic acquisition of existing RE assets/projects.
  • Ensure the Financial Model for all business segments is maintained and reviewed.
  • Review individual FMs for all business proposals with the segment head.
  • Assess FMs and manage FM streamlining for all IC papers.
  • Represent the company in commercial negotiations on acquisitions and/or divestment.
  • Perform and undertake any other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by superior/management from time to time.

Key Requirements :

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or any relevant fields.
  • Professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CFA) are an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in investment or corporate strategy roles involving valuation and acquisition.
  • Experience in driving acquisitions of renewable energy assets and businesses alongside organic growth.
  • Expertise in valuations and investment analysis.
  • Ability to manage corporate strategy and formulate annual business plans.
  • Opportunities to expand into new growth areas and implement innovative solutions.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
