This role is part of a dynamic team responsible for driving the company's growth through strategic investments and acquisitions in the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models for acquisition and divestment of companies with existing real estate assets and projects.
- Review and refine financial models for all business proposals, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company goals.
- Assess and streamline financial models for internal committee papers, ensuring efficient decision-making.
- Lead the preparation of the Annual Operating Plan, aligning with corporate strategy and business objectives.
- Manage initiatives related to corporate strategy, driving innovation and growth.
- Collaborate with the Head of Sustainability and Corporate Strategy to develop and manage the company's Annual Operating Plan and Balanced Scorecard.
Corporate Strategy:
- Support the development and implementation of corporate strategy, driving business growth and innovation.
- Contribute to the annual planning of the company's Business Plan and Balanced Scorecard, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- Monitor the company's overall performance, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
- Develop the company's Business Plan on an annual basis, coordinating with management and business units to ensure alignment with corporate strategy.
- Work closely with management to develop the Corporate Balanced Scorecard and KPI monitoring, ensuring effective tracking and communication.
Business Development Role:
- Lead the business development team in the strategic acquisition of existing real estate assets and projects.
- Ensure the financial model for all business segments is maintained and reviewed, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company goals.
- Represent the company in commercial negotiations on acquisitions and divestments, driving successful outcomes.
- Perform and undertake other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or relevant fields.
- Professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CFA) are an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in investment or corporate strategy roles involving valuation and acquisition.
- Experience in driving acquisitions of renewable energy assets and businesses, alongside organic growth.
- Expertise in valuations and investment analysis.
- Ability to manage corporate strategy and formulate annual business plans.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM7, RM10,000.00 per month
