Assistant Accounts Manager (Property Developer)

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and ensure accurate and timely reporting on monthly, quarterly & yearly subsidiaries management accounts.
  2. Assist in the preparation of Group's consolidated financial statements, audited financial statements, annual reports and quarterly reports in compliance with statutory listing requirement.
  3. Compilation of Group Budget and Forecast, performance monitoring and analysis reports.
  4. Review tax computation, quarterly revision, and submission of tax returns.
  5. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, and bankers.
  6. Any other duties as assigned from time to time by the management.

Job Requirements:

  1. Must possess at least a degree in accounting or a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA).
  2. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial management is required.
  3. Strong analytical skills to assess financial data and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  4. In-depth knowledge of Bursa Malaysia regulations and Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRSs) is essential. Familiarity with taxation and compliance regulations is also important.
  5. Strong awareness of compliance standards and adept at time management to meet deadlines and handle workloads efficiently.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required for preparing reports, presentations, and financial analysis.
  7. Must be fluent in English, Malay, and Chinese to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
