Business Development Manager, Mercer Marsh Benefits (Employee Benefits)

- The candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.
We will count on you to:
- Meet and exceed sales targets.
- Conduct research to identify new markets and clientsâ needs.
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
- Promote the companyâs products/services in addressing clients needs.
- Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives.
- Build rapport and establish long-term relationships with clients.
- Demonstrate strong team spirit in order to forge strong working relationships within and across the business segments to meet defined goals and targets.
- Provide insights and thought leadership within dedicated sector and build profile through regular interaction with key stakeholders.
What you need to have:
- Experience in generating new business opportunities and leads with good client management skills.
- Be able to follow  up on leads and opportunities to build a strong pipeline of potential  clients.
- A strong sales and growth mentality.
- Previous work experience in sales-related role especially in employee benefits will be an added advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication with good analytical, problem-solving and presentation skills.
- Voluntary and active participation in various projects outside of specific responsibilities to support business or organizational needs.
- Willing to contribute to expand your clientele coverage by engaging in business development activities when required.
- Outgoing personality and independent in nature with good interpersonal competencies.
