Responsibilities

  1. Ensure secure operations of in-house network connections. This includes system logs review and analysis, scrutinizing network traffic, and troubleshooting.
  2. Perform periodic system health checks and maintenance for network security devices such as firewalls, routers, intrusion detection systems, web filtering systems, etc.
  3. Ensure successful implementation and maintenance of the defined policies, standards, and guidelines.
  4. Manage and support networking and security services in LAN, WAN, and Internet network infrastructure.
  5. Manage and support VOIP (IP Telephony) system.
  6. Provide network administration, support, and reporting.
  7. Ensure the security baselines are tested and deployed to all network devices.
  8. Provide fault resolution and escalation to various stakeholders (e.g., internal users, IT team, etc.).
  9. Maintain documentation and change control with continuous improvement and conformance to established procedures.
  10. Liaise with the IT Security team to close any security findings flagged during security assessments within the scope of network infrastructure.
  11. Involvement in new IT initiatives/projects in the area of networking.
  12. Participate in Computer Disaster Recovery Plan (CDRP) tests.
  13. Other related duties may be delegated from time to time.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer-related disciplines and network infrastructure.
  2. CCNA or any networking and security certification is an added advantage.
  3. Preferably with a minimum of 1 year working experience in networking and VOIP-related areas.
  4. Technical aptitude.
  5. Self-motivated and a team player.
  6. Committed to achieving objectives.
  7. Organization and Planning.
  8. Clear Communicator.
