The Role:

  • To lead, review and present reporting results
  • To streamline and enhance internal reporting processes
  • To prepare the monthly business monitoring report to be submitted to Board/Senior Management Team
  • To assess and analyse key issues and concerns arising from financials / performance
  • To drive key strategic initiatives to meet / exceed company's KPI
  • To coordinate and facilitate cross-functional collaboration in initiatives implementation
  • To provide regular KPI and project updates to revelant stakeholders including Board / Senior Management Team
  • To satisfy request from auditor, regulator and Group Office
  • Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company
  • Highlight any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practice.
  • Other responsibilities entailed

The Person:

  • Qualification :


- Tertiary. Bachelors in Statistics / Maths / Actuarial Studie

Actuarial Knowledge

- Near qualified or good progress in actuarial exams in: Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK, Institute of Actuaries, Australia, or Society of Actuaries, US

  • Experience:


Over 6 years of actuarial experience in insurance industry with strong acumen on business value chain and products, technical and/or operations side

  • Knowledge and Technical Skills:


- Strong communication and presentation skills - written and verbal

- Relevant computer skills - Macro, Visual Basics, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

- Strong analytical reasoning and data orientation

- Strong understanding of Actuarial principles, valuation processes and IFRS 17

- Self-motivated and result-focused

- Strong team management and project management skill

- Able to work in a very transversal manner with various stakeholder
