As an Application Support Associate at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate and Investment Bank, Markets Technology, you play a crucial role in maintaining the stability of our critical business applications & their associated infrastructure and be the first point of contact for business users for all technical and business solution queries. You are also involved in various application related projects and engage with regulatory and compliance related controls delivery. 

  Job Responsibilities

Part of Malaysia CIB Markets Technology team responsible for technology project planning, management, and implementation for CIB market in country local owned projects. Work collaboratively in Southeast Asia Branches teams to support local business demands and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals.  Perform health checks & monitor infrastructure, servers, databases, distributed batch jobs. Manage, track, and validate all changes in production & disaster recovery environment. Work with Information Security Manager to ensure proper control and management of local applications/tools.  Assesses risks and controls including server hygiene, vulnerability & security management and recognizing gaps in processes and escalating actions plan. Liaise with local vendors, service providers and regulatory parties. Lead and driving the identification and implementation of automation opportunities across the application and infrastructure environment. Maintain strong partnership with different business stakeholders to ensure understanding of business requirement, working out project scope/plan and prioritizing time and resource. Maintain strong linkage with regional / global teams to leverage good practice, processes, functions, and resources.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Bachelor degree in Computer Science / Engineering or other relevant majors Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in financial services Knowledge of markets products Fixed-Income, Equities & Regulatory Reporting (. CCRIS, ROMS) would be advantage Technology development/project management/delivery experience, preferably within Banking or Securities financial services sector. Experience of working with internal audit teams and external regulators Tactical thinking and strong analytical skills with high and fast learning capability. Knowledge of Incident, Problem & Change Management processes and tools Good mindset of risk management and cyber security. Good team player and collaboration. Excellent interpersonal skills, team player, with an ability to remain calm under pressure while prioritizing workloads to meet business expectations
