We are seeking an experienced and innovative full stack developer to drive transformation in the end-of-life services industry through our online memorial platform and complementary product offerings.

Join our team to revolutionise the online memorialization experience by leveraging cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement responsive user interfaces using React and modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Ruby on Rails
  • Integrate frontend components with backend services
  • Research and update existing codebases to align with latest best practices
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand requirements and deliver highquality products
  • Stay uptodate with the latest trends and best practices in web development
  • Contribute innovative ideas to enhance our online memorial solutions

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with React, Redux, and related frontend technologies
  • Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails and backend development
  • Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  • Understanding of modern web development practices (e.g., REST, JSON, webpack)
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitLab)
  • Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD and DevOps practices
  • Excellent problemsolving and debugging skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Innovative mindset and passion for disrupting traditional industries

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Heroku)
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, RSpec)
  • Understanding of DevOps principles and practices
