- Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Office, including Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Familiar with Client Consulting Systems eg. Ariba, SAP.
- Required Languages: Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia, English, (Chinese & Tamil will be added advantage).
- Qualities: Independent team player with strong time management skills, Selfmotivated, proactive, matured & possess 'can do' positive attitude, and ability to meet reporting deadlines.
- Knowledge: Understanding data privacy standards and deep comprehension of business principles and practices.
- Skills: Superior attention to detail, exceptional organizational and planning skills, and proficiency in research, analysis, and critical thinking.
- Integrity: Command respect from senior management; uphold high integrity.
Responsibilities
- Maintain comprehensive accounting records in accordance with relevant standards and statutory requirements.
- Led monthend closing process, overseeing General Ledger, Balance Sheet reconciliations, and P&L statement production for accuracy.
- Manage the general accounting operation, ensuring timely and accurate monthend closing.
- Monitor and manage financial activities, including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes.
- Oversee Fixed Assets, Inventories, and other accounts, including subledger schedules.
- Prepare and validate Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions while strategizing Cash Flow planning.
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations for accurate financial data.
- Handle online banking systems and payment gateways to facilitate seamless transactions.
- Collaborate with external parties such as tax agents, auditors, bankers, and regulatory authorities.
- Have experience in administration and payroll is an added advantage.
