To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a customer service position and good knowledge of how the front desk of a hotel works.

You should also be available to take evening and weekend shifts accordingly.

Responsibilities

:

  • Manage transactions with customers using various systems.
    Collect payments whether in cash or credit Issue receipts, refunds, change. Familiar with Credit card usage
    Redeem stamps and coupons as well as our vouchers Crosssell our products and introduce new ones
    Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information Greet customers when entering and leaving
    Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
    Handle merchandise returns and exchanges.

  • Clean and tidy guest rooms according to established standards, including making beds, replacing linens, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces. Clean and maintain common areas, such as hallways, lobby, and public restrooms. Replenish guest amenities and supplies in rooms as needed. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department. Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries in a courteous manner. Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for guests and staff. Assist with laundry duties as required, including washing, drying, folding, and sorting linens and towels. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and request replenishment as needed. Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and efficient hotel operations.

Requirements

:

  • Work experience as a Retail Cashier or in a similar role in sales
    Basic PC knowledge Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS
    Good math skills Strong communication and time management skills
    Customer satisfactionoriented SPM Cert

Job Types

RM1,500.00 per month
