Job Title:
Network Engineer

Responsibilities:

Perform change request across all network technologies based on new design standards and business requirements.
Provide Technical Support for the Bank's Global Network Infrastructure.
Provide network fault investigation, troubleshooting, resolution, recovery and root cause analysis.
Review and implement complex changes and device upgrades in critical environments.
Deliver and implement network projects according to Bank standards and requirements.
Update all stakeholders on the recovery status and progress.
Provide support for the key functions ensure that sufficient capacity exists to support the service to the customers.
Perform regular maintenance, upgrades to the infrastructure to ensure a stable operational environment.

Skills & Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.

Practical knowledge & hands-on experiences in implementing and troubleshoot complex network or security related components, including Routers, Nexus Switches, Wireless Controller, Network Access Control, IDS, IPS, BGP, OSPF, VPN, Firewalls, Proxy, DNS, GTM and LTM.

Practical knowledge in troubleshooting Internet Banking, Swift, NETS,

ATM and Payment Gateways from a network and security perspective is a plus.
2yearsofrelevant working experience, with 2 years in supporting Financial Institution environment.
Proven ability to operate under pressure and meet challenging deadlines with minimum supervision.
Willingness and demonstrate capability to learn, assimilate, and act upon large amounts of information rapidly.
Positive attitude towards continuous learning.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Delivering Results and Meeting Customer Expectations.
Network relevant certification (E.g CCNA, CCNP) will be added advantage.

Routers, Nexus Switches, Wireless Controller, Network Access Control, IDS, IPS, BGP, OSPF, VPN, Firewalls, Proxy, DNS, GTM and LTM ithese which are the highest priority or all are mandatory ?Routing, switching and firewalls are highest priority, the rest will be added advantages.
