Purchasing / Procurement Assistant

- Analyzing and comparing supplier quotations, negotiating prices, and ensuring the best value for money.
- Preparing purchase orders and ensuring accuracy in all documentation.
- Coordinating with suppliers to track and update delivery schedules, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders, such as the warehouse and finance departments, to coordinate the receipt and payment of goods.
- Maintaining and updating the purchasing database and records, ensuring accurate and uptodate information.
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements and providing recommendations to management.
- Assisting in resolving any supplierrelated issues or discrepancies, such as quality control or invoice discrepancies.
- Supporting the implementation and maintenance of procurement policies and procedures.
- Assisting with inventory management and conducting periodic stock audits.
- Undertaking various tasks to support procurement officers and managers.
- Assisting the finance team with vendor and supplier payments.
- Organizing trips to merchandising events and making travel arrangements as required.
- Attending meetings with vendors and taking minutes.
- Assisting with negotiation strategies and making recommendations.
- Maintaining knowledge of market/industry trends.
- Assisting with analyses and reports.
Pay:
RM2, RM3,500.00 per month
