  • Summary
  • Responsible for the overall processing activities for BG Unit
  • Ensure adherence and compliance to all internal policies / guidelines and external regulatory requirements.
  • Initiate process improvement and controls in process flow/ procedures
  • Responsible to OAM operational relationship activities.
Duties and Responsibilities Operations

  • Perform daily work distributions and End of Day Balancing.
  • Initiate process improvement and controls in process flow/procedures
  • Follow-up with relevant parties (customer, BU's etc.) for incomplete transactions i.e info/documents/approval
  • Perform approval in TFBO system on day-to-day operations.
  • Deal and liaise with internal and external trade clients on all trade related matters including inquiry, advice, feedback, and complaint related to Bank Guarantee.
  • Participate in reviewing product manual and internal policy to improvise daily efficiency and minimize operational cost to the bank.
  • Participate in current system and product enhancement, as and when required by Trade Support and Admin
  • To response on any outstanding items in FOREX statement, RENTAS and SWIFT manual.
  • To perform SAC activities once a month.
  • To ensure reporting of BG 1:1 Facility status "Z" is updated on monthly basis.
  • To ensure scanning of the documents (Branch) / Post Disbursement Checklist (Original) been prepared within agreed TAT.
  • To record and follow-up of any pending transactions in the SNAG Register and Pending Register until resolution.
  • To monitor and follow-up on outstanding charges report (TFR225P) and BG Closure report (TF2612P) and outstanding BG claims until resolution.
  • To inform for any unplanned leave i.e., MC/EL etc. and lateness to Head of Unit via message/call
  • Handling of Stamp Duty Register and preparing journal entry schedule for stamp duty to finance department on monthly basis.
  • To perform approval on returning of security deposit and cancellation (TF 2612P)
  • To prepare the report on outstanding charges, BG Closure report and attendance report to Head of Unit on monthly basis.
  • To attend 16hrs formal training & debrief within 14 days after returning from the training.
Support Business Units Trade Initiatives

  • To assist clients under OAM portfolio to smoothen and resolves operational requirements.
  • To visit, calling or meeting with the customers especially OAM customers as and when required
  • Work together with Business Units, Regional Offices and Branches on any operational related trade matters. i.e, meeting or product briefing.
  • Ensure timely reporting on activities done.
Others

  • To perform any other tasks as assigned by HOD and other superiors as and when required.

  • Degree in related/ acceptable discipline
  • Fast learner and able to quickly grasp related bank policies and procedures, SLA (Service Level Agreement), BNM & Regulatory Guidelines and International Ruling.
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work cooperatively with team members to ensure goals are met.
  • Effectively support the team on daily work/ special projects
