JOB SCOPE

Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining relationships with clients/customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction with the products or services offered.

Sales Strategy Development: Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve targets and increase revenue. This might involve analyzing market trends, identifying potential clients, and creating tailored sales approaches.

Product/Service Knowledge: Having a deep understanding of the products or services offered by the company and being able to effectively communicate their features, benefits, and value propositions to potential clients.

Lead Generation: Actively seeking out new sales opportunities through networking, cold calling, attending events, and other lead generation methods.

Consultative Selling: Taking a consultative approach to sales by understanding the client's needs, providing expert advice, and recommending the most suitable solutions.

Negotiation: Negotiating terms of sale, prices, and contracts with clients to ensure a mutually beneficial agreement.

Sales Presentations: Delivering compelling sales presentations and demonstrations to potential clients, showcasing the benefits of the products or services offered.

Market Research: Conducting market research to identify new trends, competitor activity, and opportunities for growth.

Sales Reporting and Analysis: Keeping detailed records of sales activity, tracking progress towards targets, and analyzing sales data to identify areas for improvement.

REQUIREMENTS

Education: A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or a related field is often preferred. However, some companies may accept equivalent work experience in lieu of formal education.

Experience: Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is typically required. The level of experience needed may vary depending on the seniority of the position. Entry-level positions may require little to no experience, while senior roles may require several years of experience in sales or management.

Sales Skills: Strong sales skills are essential for success as a sales consultant. This includes the ability to build relationships, negotiate effectively, and close deals. Experience with consultative selling techniques and relationship-based sales approaches is often highly valued.
