About the role

We are seeking a Regional People Operations Specialist (Payroll) who will partner closely with Assistant Manager, People Operations in driving HR operational excellence for Doctor Anywhere in Singapore and the region.

You will have an eye for detail and unwavering commitment to improve and streamline processes with the aim of improving our employee experience.

You will be part of our People and Culture Team managing payroll, people operations and providing HR support for our managers and employees.

A summary of the key responsibilities are as follows

  • Providing handson and operational support in regional payroll matters.
  • Collecting and verifying employee timekeeping records, calculating wages, salaries, deductions, and adjustments, and ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Staying up to date with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance. This includes tax withholding, reporting, and filing requirements.
  • Conducting regular audits and reconciliations of payroll records, tax filings, and other related documents to ensure accuracy.
  • Responding to employee inquiries related to payroll, taxes, and deductions, and providing excellent customer service.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices.
  • Initiating and executing any People Operations and Workplace Experience related projects in regional level

; Requirements:

  • About you
  • At least 5 years of payroll experience, with experience in processing payroll APAC countries is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to deliver results with little supervision in a startup, hypergrowth environment with the capacity to effectively manage multiple payroll simultaneously.
  • Proficient knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Unquestioned integrity and confidentiality.
  • A startup attitude you take full ownership of things that you do, willing to go out of your comfort zones and take on new challenges.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and flexible to learn new things we're not done growing, and heading into uncharted territories is part of the fun
