Responsibilities:

The Operations Manager will be responsible for the overall team performance and ensure appropriate staffing to meet business goals.

Evaluate and implement changes to enhance efficiency, productivity, quality and cost-effectiveness, drive effective change management within the team for new technologies, tools and processes.

Regularly conduct and join internal and external meetings to support business activities.

  • Oversee and support subordinates daily overall operations to ensure accurate, timely, and highquality operations.
  • Resolve daily issues to ensure a smooth working process.
  • Timely response to both customer and internal requests.
  • Manage individual and team performances, and workload balance.
  • Responsible for profit and loss in the department.
  • Establish and maintain a good relationship with shipping line.
  • Responsible for operational quality and corresponding KPI.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure business plans and objectives are met.
  • Serve as the point of escalation and address conflicts between teams.
  • Escalate operational service issues to other teams or management.
  • Escalate unresolved operational service issues to the next management level.
  • Implement new processes, standards, guidelines and systems when required.
  • Additional tasks as assigned by the superior.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in freight forwarding business.
  • Handson experience in managing air and ocean freight operations in MNC environment.
  • Strong knowledge of import/export operations and regulations is a must.
  • Possess strategic thinking, collaboration and develop staff competencies with positive mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in English both written and verbal.
  • Able to work under pressure, good team player and ready for changes.
  • Strong decisionmaking and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
