Arus Academy is an education social enterprise specializing in creating high-quality education solutions for students and teachers in Malaysia. Arus is constantly searching for ways to make education more accessible and impactful through systemic and ground-up approaches.

Main Responsibilities:

Specialist at Arus is a versatile professional who excels as a
visionary project manager, an
inspiring educator, and an
expert in a specific content area.

They effectively manage projects with an educator's insight, ensuring that the program's content and delivery are thoughtfully planned and meaningfully executed.

They also proactively identify opportunities to seamlessly integrate their expertise into existing and new programs in Arus.

Their adaptability is evident in how they integrate various content elements to enhance delivery effectiveness, ensuring their work is dynamic, relevant, and impactful.

Below are some examples of tasks typically performed by a Specialist at Arus.

It's important to note that these tasks are not intended to be divided into specific percentages or given equal priority.

Instead, they should be adjusted based on the unique context of the current project and the opportunities that arise.

Visionary manager


A visionary manager is someone who inspires and motivates their team by setting ambitious goals, thinking outside the box, and leading with a clear long-term vision for the organization's success.

Plan, execute, and manage projects to meet deliverables within time and budget constraints.

  • Collaborate with Project Director(s) and clients to define
    project scope, goals, and deliverables supporting business objectives.
  • Create
    project plans, timelines, and budgets utilizing Arus' project management processes.
  • Coordinate
    internal resources and external vendors for project execution.
  • Manage
    project budgets, resources, risks, and issues effectively, and conduct
    postmortems for continuous improvement.
  • Produce
    timely and accurate project reports to track progress, budgets, and risks, ensuring stakeholders are wellinformed for effective decisionmaking.

Coaches team members to maximize potential, develop skills, and achieve project objectives by providing feedback, support, and resources for growth and success.

Effective educator
At Arus, we believe that every member, regardless of role should embody the spirit of an educator. This entails a commitment to ongoing learning and the skilful and purposeful sharing of knowledge with others.

  • Design and develop engaging curriculum and learning materials for programmes under Arus.
  • Deliver engaging lessons, workshops, and training sessions to participants through strong classroom management and teaching strategies.
  • Create assessments to measure participant learning outcomes and provide feedback.

FinLit content expert


A FinLit content expert should be able to incorporate financial literacy concepts into Arus' programs through content development and discussions that encourage critical thinking.

They should also be ready to represent Arus at content-related events, showcasing Arus' commitment to promoting and advocating for financial literacy.


  • Develop/ Integrate FinLit content into teaching and learning materials tailored to different age groups and educational settings.
  • Facilitate discussions on critical thinking, digital citizenship, and financial literacy skills to help students analyze and evaluate media content effectively.
  • Stay updated on current trends in media, technology, and information dissemination to provide relevant and uptodate instruction to students, teachers and Arus' social media content.
  • Engage with the community by organizing at least one financial literacy event or contributing to a community newsletter quarterly, to raise awareness and promote the importance of financial literacy skills among community members.

Key Results:

  • All programmes organised received 30% and above Net Promoter Score.
  • The project achieved all deliverables within time and budget constraints.
  • The project outcome received satisfactory feedback from the clients.
  • At least three new partnerships are formed through organising various events.
  • All inventory is well recorded and
