As the Group Manager (After Sales), you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all after-sales operations at a head office level throughout all hubs/outlets. Your primary focus will be on ensuring customer satisfaction, optimizing service efficiency, and maximizing revenue through effective after-sales strategies. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of automotive after-sales processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive after-sales strategies to meet business objectives and enhance customer satisfaction.

Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities to formulate effective strategies for aftermarket services.

  • Team Management

Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of after-sales personnels, including service managers, technicians, and support staff, to achieve performance targets.

Provide guidance and support to after-sales teams to ensure alignment with company objectives and standards.

  • Service Quality Assurance

Establish and enforce service quality standards and procedures to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality after-sales services across all locations.

Monitor service performance metrics, customer feedback, and complaints to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

  • Revenue Generation

Develop pricing strategies and service packages to optimize revenue generation from after-sales services, including parts sales, repairs, and maintenance contracts.

Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling of aftermarket products and services to increase customer lifetime value.

  • Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including brand principal, suppliers, and customers, to enhance collaboration and support business growth.

Act as a liaison between the after-sales department and other internal departments to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of objectives.

  • Compliance and Safety

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and safety guidelines governing after-sales operations, including environmental regulations and warranty policies.

Implement measures to minimize risks related to product recalls, warranty claims, and safety issues, and ensure timely resolution of any issues that arise.

  • Performance Analysis and Reporting

Monitor after-sales performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial target, prepare regular reports for Managing Director to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Conduct regular reviews and analysis of after-sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and make recommendations for strategic adjustments as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in after-sales management within the automotive industry, with a track record of achieving targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to deliver exceptional results.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and a keen attention to detail.
  • Deep understanding of automotive after-sales processes, including service operations, parts management, warranty administration, and customer support.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to after-sales services and customer satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software applications for data analysis, reporting, and project management.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
