  • Prepare and consolidate the company's financial results and management reports with precision and clarity.
  • Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of intercompany transactions and balances, identifying and resolving any discrepancies promptly.

  • Provide detailed financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making, highlighting key trends and variances.
Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Consolidation
  • Prepare and consolidate the company's financial results and management reports with precision and clarity.
  • Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of intercompany transactions and balances, identifying and resolving any discrepancies promptly.
  • Coordinate the preparation of quarterly and annual reports, meeting all stakeholder requirements, including external investors, regulatory bodies, and internal management.
  • Provide detailed financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making, highlighting key trends and variances.
Compliance and Audit
  • Act as the primary liaison with external auditors during annual audits and group audits, facilitating smooth communication and efficient audit processes.
  • Coordinate and lead internal audit processes to ensure robust financial controls are in place and functioning effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal control systems, regularly reviewing and updating policies to reflect best practices.
  • Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards and regulations, evaluating their impact on the company's financial reporting, and providing recommendations for adjustments as necessary.
  • Develop and implement training programs to keep the finance team informed about regulatory changes and compliance requirements.
Full Spectrum of Accounts
  • Manage the full spectrum of accounts for holding and dormant companies, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in collaboration with the Group Finance team.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal policies.
  • Conduct regular reviews of account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Internal Controls and Process Improvement
  • Evaluate and enhance financial reporting systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
  • Implement innovative technology solutions and best practices to streamline financial reporting and consolidation processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Lead projects aimed at optimizing financial operations, such as automation of routine tasks and integration of new software systems.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of financial processes and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
Others
  • Support the seamless integration of new businesses or entities into the group, ensuring consistent application of financial policies and procedures.
  • Undertake various group exercises and special projects as needed, providing financial expertise and insights to support the achievement of organizational goals.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.
  • At least 5 years' experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and compliance. Any prior audit experience in Big 4 is highly advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven experience in team management with the ability to deliver results through others.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with a range of stakeholders
