The Team:
You will be working in the Upstream Transformation team, which is focused on helping upstream stakeholders identify trends for reducing, offsetting and using greenhouse gas emissions from core upstream oil and gas operations; benchmarking their actions; and defining emerging best practice in emissions management for companies and governments.
The team is dedicated to providing critical information for oil and gas companies to navigate through the fast-changing and uncertain journey of the energy transition, helping the upstream stakeholders in portfolio choices, and innovation beyond their traditional capabilities.

Responsibilities:
Are you a passionate researcher? Do you enjoy uncovering details to build compelling stories? Are you interested in CCUS and emissions? We are seeking a highly motivated individual to:
Research emerging energy transition developments affecting upstream oil and gas to support content generation, with a particular focus on Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS)
Monitor, collate and edit information to support dataset development, including commercial and subsurface CCUS data
Organize and maintain the datasets in Power BI and a cloud-based data warehouse to facilitate advanced analytics
Identify trends from the collected information and datasets, assist in generating related reports
Collaborate with other analysts to draft research on upstream company strategies to reduce emissions and CCUS developments
Write brief pieces on notable CCUS developments
What We're Looking For:
Key Qualifications:
BS in Petroleum Geology, Environmental Engineering, Climate and Environmental studies. (Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.)
Strong demonstrable research, qualitative and quantitative analysis, critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Knowledge of the energy and upstream sectors would be beneficial.
