Applicants for the position should:

- be an excellent classroom practitioner who sets high expectations for attainment and progress and attitude to learning
- be proficient and experienced at delivering an enriched UK National Curriculum
- have excellent communication skills and positive work ethic in order to work collaboratively and effectively as part of a team
- be able to employ different strategies to support and accelerate the learning of all students, in particular multilingual learners
- possess humour, energy and the ability and willingness to go above and beyond, positively contributing to the development of our school
- exhibit competency in the use of educational technologies and demonstrate an innovative approach to teaching and learning
- familiarity with the International Primary Curriculum and a mastery approach to teaching Maths is desirable, yet not essential.
- be committed to contributing to the sports, performing arts and CCA programmes across the school
- be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (this is a requirement of the Ministry of Education)
- possess a recognised teaching qualification with a minimum of 3 years teaching experience

In October 2017, we were awarded The International Schools Quality Mark (ISQM) Gold Level Accreditation and were identified as outstanding in all 8 assessed standards during the accreditation visit.

We have retained our Gold Level accreditation at all subsequent visits including the latest in November 2021.

The school is also a proud and active member of FOBISIA (Federation of British International Schools in Asia) and AIMS (Association of International Malaysian Schools) amongst others.

ISP is home to more than 1400 students from over 60 nationalities. Families are attracted to the community-based approach the school possess. Whilst academics are of the utmost importance, the school takes a great deal of pride in developing the character of its constituents and this is reflected in the vision and mission statements
