About the Role

(1) Assisting in setting up best practices in building decision management and analytics capabilities for the multi-national unit and delivering crucial insights to both clients and internal stakeholders in achieving optimal business results, including but not limited to policy administration, cost containment, wellbeing program design, employee benefits design, channel insights and management performance review, as well as communicating these insights to key stakeholders across different functions internally or externally with distribution channels.

(3) Able to work with cross-functional teams and being responsible for managing projects and inter-department collaborations (stakeholder including vendor, technical and business team).

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the development of a robust claim reporting framework for Multi National Business Unit by analyze medical trends to support the decision making for risk management and profitability of regional business
  • Assisting in improving and expanding AIA Analytica to maintain AIA's marketleading position by creating and managing the data requirements for the onboarding of new vendors (regional wellness partners and fronting medical insurance partners in markets) and manage medical data requests by the brokers and the global network partners (Allianz and Zurich)
  • Providing analytical support to sales team in quotations and RFPs and the development of the marketing promotion and communication materials
  • Liaising with vendors in designing and developing the best data transfer and structures for onboarding all countries to Tableau Platform and in facilitating the development of frontend data analysis and tools for internal and external reporting including data visualization, dashboard creation, reporting generation (standardized and ad hoc) and enhancing reporting to create a 360degree view of our members, providers and partners. The activities including user requirement and UAT testing.
  • Assisting in the development of wellness program by participating in the preparation and presentation of data, proposition, recommendations and toolkits
  • Collaborating with other internal and external partners across the markets in APAC region

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Strong SQL programming skill is required (MSSQL preferred)
  • Proficient in relevant tools for the role (Tableau, MS Excel/Power Point) 5+ years of relevant analytical OR wellness experience is required; Insurance experience is a plus
  • Bachelor or above degree in epidemiology/biostatistics/medical economics/applied mathematics/actuarial science/computer science OR public health or health management or clinical such as nursing
  • Demonstrated problemsolving skills, good organizational, interpersonal, and team skill.
  • Able to work with mínimal supervision, good time management skill
  • Language Requirement:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Able to communicate in Chinese to liaise with technology vendor from China.
